Announcing new fellowship funding opportunities for doctoral candidates at Stanford

The Center for Human Rights and International Justice is pleased to announce that it will award 2-3 graduate fellowships (in the amount of $5,000 each) during AY2019-20. The funding is to support Stanford students in the process of completing a doctoral dissertation who plan to include at least one chapter focusing on a human rights or international justice case study or issue. Applicants should be in the fifth, sixth, or seventh year of their PhD. Recipients of the fellowship will be expected to present their chapter at a workshop to be convened by the Center sometime during the spring quarter of 2020. This fellowship is open to doctoral students in any Stanford department or program who are in their fifth, sixth, or seventh year currently, and expect to complete their dissertation by the end of AY2019-20.

Proposals are  due no later than Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at 11:59pm.
