Christine Min Wotipka is Associate Professor (Teaching) of Education and (by courtesy) Sociology. She is the director of the master's programs in International Comparative Education and International Educational Administration and Policy Analysis.
Dr. Wotipka's scholarly interests include gender and higher education, citizenship education, and international human rights. She teaches the ICE/IEAPA MA program seminars; Education, Gender, and Development; and Gender and Higher Education. Her other teaching experience includes two years of service as a U.S. Peace Corps volunteer in rural northeast Thailand. She has also conducted research in the Republic of Korea and Morocco.
Dr. Wotipka received her BA in International Relations and French from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, MA in Sociology at Stanford University, and PhD in International Comparative Education from Stanford University.
