Paul Farmer Discusses Documentary Screening to Improve Global Health Care
The Stanford Center for Innovation in Global Health, WSD HANDA Center for Human Rights and International Justice, and PIH Engage Stanford hosted a pre-release screening of Bending the Arc followed by a panel discussion with Dr. Paul Farmer, founder of Partners In Health.
Bending the Arc is a highly acclaimed documentary following the work of extraordinary doctors and activists, including Paul Farmer, Jim Yong Kim, and Ophelia Dahl. Their work 30 years ago to save lives in a Haitian village grew into a global battle for the right to health for all.
A panel discussion followed the film screening. Panelists included Paul Farmer (Harvard Medical School, Partners In Health), Ami Bhatt (Stanford School of Medicine), Cassia van der Hoof Holstein (Partners In Health), and Jonny Dorsey (Emerson Collective).
