Handa Center Hosts Workshop on Victimology

On Friday 13 January 2017, the WSD HANDA Center for Human Rights and International Justice in conjunction with Tilburg University and with support from the Canada Fund for Local Initiatives, held a workshop on victimology in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Professor Antony Pemberton and Dr. Pauline Aarten, from the International Victimology Institute Tilburg (INTERVICT), the largest victimological research institute in the world, introduced victimology and explained its relevance to Cambodia. The workshop was attended by 32 participants from various institutions and organizations, including Cambodian universities and non-governmental organisations.
