Journalism’s Role in International Justice: Notes from the Field

The International Justice lecture will feature news and documentary journalist Kira Kay Executive Director of the Bureau for International Reporting (BIR). Kay has covered international justice topics on four continents, including in Uganda, Cambodia, Bosnia and Argentina for PBS NewsHour and other outlets. The BIR provides visually striking and deeply reported video news to national and international broadcast outlets, serving an otherwise underserved viewing public. The Annual Lecture on International Justice will address "overlooked" international news, issues, and communities pertinent to both humanitarian work and human rights advocacy.
