Current Issues Before the International Criminal Court
With a critical, albeit hopeful lens, a panel of today's foremost scholars on international justice will delve into some of the most salient issues currently faced by the International Criminal Court. From the recent exit of three prominent African nations from the Rome Statute (including the Gambia, home to Prosecutor Fatou Bensouda), to the question of whether the Syrian case will ever make it to The Hague, to the impending addition of the crime of aggression to the court's jurisdiction, this seminar will address a wide range of questions on the future of international criminal justice.
